Aurora: Health Humanities Exhibition
My poem titled "Catharisis" was selected to be featured in a humanities health exhibition titled Aurora in collaboration with Art History Undergraduate Association at UCI and Students for Health Humanities.
Artists were asked to shed light on our stories, reflections, or perceptions related to health/well-being.
Patience and Pandemic
I entered my poem titled "In This Place" and responded to theme how the pandemic has affected my life personally. I was selected along with other undergraduate students to have their work published in the Patient Project's creative journal titled Patience and Pandemic.
The Scribe at UCI
I submitted my poem "Fifty Times A Day" to UCI's medical humanities where I responded to the theme of COVID-19. I wrote how the pandemic has affected people emotionally, mentally, and socially through the repetitive action of hand washing. I along with other undergraduate students were published in The Scribe's first publication for the 2020-2021 school year.
Culver City Centennial Poetry Collection
In honor of Culver City's 100th celebration, I submitted my poem titled "The Progression of Culver City" to commemorate the history of the city where I attended middle school and high school in.
